About St.Anne's College Kurana

St. Anne's Maha Vidyalaya is located in Western Province, Kurana.  The school was started on 1945 to fulfill the need of children in the village area and the first Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Mr. D.S. Senanayake opend this school with three staff members. At that time there were about 100 to 200 students in this school.  

Today there are more than 1000 children studying in this school. At present, Mrs. M.M.R. Mallika is the Principal of St.Anne's Maha Vidyalaya and with her excellency school has won many medals during the past years.
